About Lou

Once upon a time, I used to be a slim young single lawyer who worked in a big City building.  I used to live in a trendy inner city area and wore expensive dry-clean-only suits.

Now I'm the stay-at-home-Mum of four children married to a wonderful man and living in the suburbs.  My clothes are more drip-dry than dry-clean-only these days!  I'm working on getting the slim back.

I discovered, when I decided not to return to work after the birth of my fourth child, that I NEEDED to do something creative.  And so I started making cards.  When my children's school Fete came up I wanted to contribute my cards to the Craft Stall, and I started looking around for better prices on cardstock and envelopes than I could source at my local stores.  I discovered Stampin' Up! and was hooked on their complete range of co-ordinated paper, ink, cardstock, brads and ribbon.  It spoke to both the creative and the control freak in me!   I was able to make 100 cards for the Fete - and soon after I signed up as a Demonstrator to get the amazing 20% discount.

I now love my job!  I can work around my family commitments, I have made so many new friends and I've discovered I enjoy teaching others how to discover their creative side too.

I now hold regular classes in my home on the Brisbane Northside,  offered during the day and repeated at night for those who can't make daytime classes.   I also do workshops or parties in customers homes.  This is a fun way to get together with your friends and learn a new technique, and also earn free product if your workshop total qualifies.

Contact me if you'd like to learn more about Stampin' Up! or if you'd like me to be your creative coach.  I'd love to help!

Getting closer....

It's nearly that time of year, where the retirement list comes out.  That means the in-colours we've loved the past 2 years are leav...
