My dear friend asks me to keep her stocked with cards so I whipped up 20 for her last night. Simple, one layer cards using Upsy Daisy and the reverse masking technique (I used the negative from a Nestabilities die I'd used recently on another card). The card is Kraft and the colours were kept monochromatic. She likes them to be blank so she can use them for any occasion. What do you think? Too plain?
I also made a box to put them in and made a step by step tutorial while I was at it. The tutorial will be posted a little later as today is a pupil-free day and the kids are bugging me to get off the computer!
Anyway, here's the box:

I live the simplicity of these cards and the monochromatic look! However, I think they would look nicer as a smaller size, closer to the image. In this size maybe a small strip of ribbon or cardstock would not make them look so plain which is obviously your first reaction to them. They are still very nice none-the-less. Will have a go at your box/bag tutorial soon.
I agree Mae, thanks for your constructive feedback. I needed another perspective! xx L
