Last Launch Recap

Here are the last two projects made at the Launch:

I love the simplicity of the colour scheme here - Sahara Sand and crisp white look great together, don't they?  This one would be fun to mass produce with the kids I think.  A production line of stars!



And the photo doesn't do this card justice - in real life, it looks very elegant, with gold embossing.  It looks so pretty you could probably swap out the Christmas greeting for a wedding card, I think.

More Launch Goodies!

Nearly finished showing off the gorgeous projects from Launch.  Remember the boxes from the displays?


Well, everyone got to play with the Gift Box Punch Board and made one themselves!  Love this gadget - the first time you use it, it feels a little confusing and awkward, but once you have made one box, it all clicks into place and they are soooooo easy!


The boxes were made with Whisper White card stock stamped randomly with snowflakes from the new photopolymer Endless Wishes stamp set.  Photopolymer stamps are clear, and it makes it very easy to place them exactly where you wish.


The cute tag was made with the Merry Everything stamp set and matching punch.  Have I mentioned how much I love how these things are made to work together beautifully?  


This is another card made with a co-ordinating stamp set and punch - isn't it cute?  This time the stamp set, Festival of Trees, is photopolymer.  Those trees would look cute on a scrapbook page, or as gift tags too.

Mini Launch Part 2

More of what you missed - some of Bec's designs this time.
Bec came up with this gorgeous little bag and tag - which is a gift in itself.  Christmas tree decoration, anyone?  The decoration was made by rolling out some Simply Pressed Clay, cut out with a biscuit cutter and stamped on with the large stamp from Bright & Beautiful.  The white button is from the Nordic Designer Buttons in the Mini, and so is the lovely Cherry Cobbler sheer linen ribbon.  Bec thought this bag would make a pretty tea-light holder (you can't tell from the photo, but the bag has been scored so that it will stand up on it's own).  You could personalise your own Christmas Tree decorations for your friends, teachers, coaches, neighbours, or guests around your table this year.  
 Now this card was a little tricky, and took everyone the most time.  But the hard work was worth it!

It is an unusual card which folds flat (you could make a square envelope if you wanted to) and stands up so you can display it.  This is a special card to give to someone who values your time and effort.  Don't waste it on the uncle you know will just toss it out!
