Just as the girls grow out of pink and fairies, the boys eventually grow out of pirates and trains. Here is a very simple card for the boys, featuring a Rugby ball and a footy player (could be used for AFL, Rugby League, or Rugby Union, or American Football).
I used the same colour combination (Old Olive and Not Quite Navy) as in my FIL's birthday card a few posts ago, distressed the edges, and used (retired) eyelets for a more rugged look.
I think I'll make a few of these to have on hand.

This is a fantastic colour combo for a boy Lou, and that image is perfect too!! And whats even more fun, is that it looks like the perfect card for me to be dressing up in my tutu and shakers again............AWESOME!
