Happy St Patrick's Day!

This is the Lucky printable from My Digital Studio - I used the artwork from this to make the badges (the 4 leaf clover and the words)

I have Irish heritage, as does my husband, although we're  4th generation Australian - I ALWAYS make a point of wearing green on St Paddy's Day, and my kids always do too.   In past years, my SU! stash has come in handy - green ribbons, handout green shamrocks pinned to their shirt, etc.

This year, I made easy stickers they could wear to school in My Digital Studio.

I simply designed little badges in MDS on my computer and printed them out on to sticker paper with my printer at home.  Then I was able to cut them out with circle framelits and my Big Shot.

What you missed at last week's class...

These are the fun set of cards we made last week at my class - we changed up the sentiments a little, because I personally don't use cards that say "hello", though I love the idea of them.  What about you?

They feature the gorgeous Fresh Prints DSP stack, the Simple Stems stamp set, and matching framelits (Secret Garden Framelits).  I just love this colour combination:  Crumb Cake, Real Red, Coastal Cabana, and Whisper White, with Pear Pizzazz for the leaves.

We ran out of time to make this cute and easy box for the card set!  Clearly we need to allow more time for catching up and chatting next time.

Remember this card from a few weeks ago?  I revisited the same stamp set and framelits to build up my card stash.

40th Glitz

I was recently invited to attend my new neighbour's glam 40th party - it was a decadent dessert party!  Such a fun idea, and a lovely evening.  I was able to whip up this birthday card in a matter of moments.  I kept it fairly simple.  Love the glimmer card stock, it really set the whole thing off.  I mounted the numbers on bits of Dimensional that I cut into little bits.  

A little bit of embossing, a little DSP and new Banner frame lit and Starburst frame lit, and it's done!

Of course, this would be easy to make into a male 40th card too - just swap the DSP or colours.

Watercolour without tears

Forgotten whether I've shown you these yet - one of my favourite new products in the Occasions Mini:

 A set of cards, already water coloured on Watercolour Paper.  You only need to jazz 'em up a bit and they are good to go.  You get heaps in a pack - 20, with matching envelopes.  A bargain!
