Amanda has the cute set called Wagon Full of Fun which I don't have (yet), and we stamped and coloured some images which I put together into a card last night.
I've gathered the ribbon in both cards after seeing this tutorial by Mary Dawn Quirindongo in her gorgeous blog My Pink Mexico. I love the girly ruffled look, and it is really simple to do, if you have a strong double-sided tape such as sticky strip. Oh, and see the chunky glitter? What's a cupcake without sprinkles?
Here's a pic of the other images from Wagon Load of Fun, and the sentiments on both cards are from this cute Hostess set Sweet Little Sentiments:
Ingredients:
Stamps: Wagon Full of Fun, Polka Dot Background, Sweet Little Sentiments;
Paper: So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, Watercolour paper, Whisper White
Fibres: So Saffron Grograin (retired), 3.2cm pink pirouette grosgrain (Summer Mini), hemp twine
Other: Mat Pack and piecing tool, dimensionals, aquapainer, sticky strip, chunky sprinkles glitter, Tombow adhesive, Button from Sherbert Designer Buttons (Summer Mini)
In my previous post I mentioned the SAB promotion which starts very soon? In honour of SAB, I'm participating in a fun Blog Hop where I'll show you some of my creations made using the exclusive SAB stamps. If you've never seen one before, a Blog Hop is really fun. You start at one blog, then click the link to the next one, and so on. This Blog Hop is being organised by ESAD-SU (Extremely Special Australian Demonstarators Stampin' Up! ), and if you write a comment on each blog post, you can win some Blog Candy!
The Blog Hop will run from 6am on Sunday 25th January 2010, so please make sure you play along. I'll have some fun creations to show off and get you in the mood for SAB!
