Launch Projects Part 3

Saving the best until last?  You be the judge!  Here are the three gorgeous projects designed by Stephanie Pike.

I love this vintage, shabby-chic style card.  I can see it as a Mother's Day card, can't you?
Steph used the new pleated ribbon, and the new Rue Des Fleurs stamp set.  Gorgeous!

This pretty card showcases the new Edgelits, and the Simply Scored tool was also used here.  The flowers are from the Bordering on Romance stamp set.

Too cute!  This card features the Baby Prints stamp set.
I hope you've enjoyed them!  I have a few new projects to share with you during the week.

Also, a note to my class regulars - we are about to get our house painted, so I won't be able to host my usual monthly class until they have been and gone.  I'll let you know ASAP!

Launch Projects,Part 1

Whew!  What a big day we had on Sunday!

First, let me say that I LOVE that Stampin' Up! has brought such beautiful friends into my life.  Bec O'Gorman and Stephanie Pike are two of the most genuine, friendly, generous and talented women I know.

Bec O'Gorman

Steph Pike
47 Lovely ladies came along to create pretty things with new products from the Autumn-Winter Mini.  Want to see what they made?

Here are just a few - more to come in my next post.

This is one of the cards I designed - a standing Z-Fold card made using the Simply Scored, and featuring the Mouthwatering stamp set, and co-ordinating Sweet Shop DSP.  Yummy!

And here is the side view so you can see the Z-fold.

This was my favourite:  The teacup is so pretty!  The stamp set is called Tea Shoppe.

And the inside!

This had lots of steps - embossing with the big shot and the hearts folder, cutting out the Pol Party layer with a Framelit then running it through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper folder, then stamping with Apothecary Art, heat embossing it, and cutting out with the Frameit, and then stamping and heat embossing the sentiment and cutting it out.

One of the Lucky Door Prizes I made, these cute packages containing...

A selection of sweet gift cards made with the Button Buddies stamp set.

More on the Launch to come, so stay tuned!

A Mixed Bunch from the new Mini

You know how much I love it when Stampin' Up! design a stamp set, and a punch that co-ordinate?  I love it a thousand times infinity (as my children would say).  This set is just perfect for cards, scrapbook layouts, or adding a decorative touch to a gift tag....I have many ideas bubbling to the
surface looking at these!

Stamps:  Mixed Bunch (NEW Mini 125537 clearmount, set of 6, $46.95);
Bordering on Romance (NEW Mini clearmount, 125482 set of 5 $40.95) ;
Teeny Tiny Sentiments (set of 24, 2011-12 Idea Book , clearmount 120024, $46.95

Paper:   Shimmery White,  (121717, pack of 10, $13.95)

Nor Quite Navy cardstock, 108606 pack of 24, $13.95
Ink:  Poppy Parade, Not Quite Navy

Other:  Big Shot, Edgelit Dies Adorning Accents (NEW Mini 125595, $19.95, set of 2);  Word Window Punch, Modern label Punch, Circle Punch, Basic Pearls

And the inside:  (I probably need to stamp something there, it looks a little plain)

And here is one that is handy to have, ready to send.  Of course, you could swap the sentiment around for any occasion (the beauty of the Teeny Tiny Sentiments set is that they all fit inside the Word Window Punch, so it is easy to swap them in or out).
As before, I've used the NEW Blossom Punch (125603, $33.95) and the Mixed Bunch Stampset, with Teeny Tiny Sentiments, the Word Window and label punch and I've used the new Edgelit embossing folder for the little heart border there - so cute!

I have spent all weekend cutting up the make and take kits for the three cards I've designed for the Launch next weekend - can't wait to show you!  But I'll wait until after the Launch, I think.

In other news, the 4 Things are back to school tomorrow - woohoo!

Simply Scored Video

Here is a helpful video by Stampin' Up! about the Simply Scored, in case you weren't sure you knew what to do with it.  I've been using mine heaps already, not just for making paper rosettes (though I've made plenty of those!).  I've been making boxes, cards with intricate folds, all sorts of fun projects.  I'll be showcasing them on my blog shortly (I just need to photograph them and kick the children off the computer!)

Enjoy!

Hello Autumn!

It is finally here!  The Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue!

click HERE to go to an online version of the Mini Catalogue!

Looky at what I've made:

I CASE'd this layout from the Stampin Up! Demonstrator Magazine, Impressions.  I love that they provide ideas and inspirations every month!
NEW Twitterpated DSP.  There is a matching fabric, Yummy!

More NEW Stamps - this one is Bordering on Romance.  It co-ordinates with a NEW Edgelits die, and a NEW Textured Impressions Embossing Folder!  Squeee!

More showing off about our holiday!  Also the NEW pleated ribbon, the NEW Framelits Die, Twitterpated DSP, and Bordering on Romance stamp set.

The owls aren't new, but the Framelits dies are!  How cute (and easy) to make  these matching card and gift tag sets?  the "happy birthday" is actually from a retired stamp set.
And just in case you've forgotten, we are holding a Launch of the new mini on Sunday 22nd April - we still have some spots, so be quick to RSVP, grab a friend and have a fun day creating pretty things!

I hope you all have a fabulous Easter break!

Getting closer....

It's nearly that time of year, where the retirement list comes out.  That means the in-colours we've loved the past 2 years are leav...
