All Aboard the Baby Train!

No, I'm not pregnant, LOL!  But in real life there has been an explosion of new little people arriving and I've been looking at the whole Baby Card thing differently.  My usual go-to stamp set, Nursery Neccessities was retired in the US, and I'm predicting it will be here too (sidenote - we get the Retired List on 1st August, so not long to go!).  I noticed in the US the gorgeous Choo Choo set is in their new catalogue - this was in a Mini for us in December last year I think?  Anyway, I thought I'd try my hand at using it for a baby card on the off chance we do get it in our catalogue!

I think it worked out pretty well, too!  I decided to use some of the colours that will be leaving us - ballet blue, creamy caramel (sniff!  I love them!).  This card uses the Top Note die, large oval and scallop oval punches, and some Real Red spotty ribbon from a Mini a while ago.
Have a happy Monday everyone!

you know, I was thinking that the track roller stamp could double as a fence for some sort of whimsical farm or zoo set. I know they have zoo animals, but just wondering if they might bring out some similar style farm animals. I've actually been planning a similar card in my head where you pull two sides to open to reveal the tray carriage with a baby (from that cute little people set) sitting in it. Now to find the time! Also have a great idea for the shoe card but have yet to sit down and do that one.
cheers,
Sarah

Love how you have done this with the Top Note, Lou, and love your colour combo. I am hoping we get this in our catty, too! (along with a few others from previous mini's.

Getting closer....

It's nearly that time of year, where the retirement list comes out.  That means the in-colours we've loved the past 2 years are leav...
